The foreign-born (FB) population increased from 6,883 in 1970 to 88,805 in 2010. That was an increase of 1190.2 percent. The foreign-born share changed from 1.7 percent to 10.0 percent.
The share of the overall population that was native-born (NB) increased by 114.5 percent.

The first chart below shows the three population change factors for three periods adjusted for annual average amounts. Natural change (B-D) was the largest factor accounting for population growth in the first and most recent period, while NDM was the largest factor in the second period.
The second chart shows the same data but with an adjustment to reflect births to immigrants shifted to NIM. In it, net immigration (NIM) replaced B-D as the primary factor adding population in the most recent period.
